科工专周末户外登山 享受不一样的清凉！

　　本周末是长周末，中国科学家工程师专业人士协会凤凰城分会（科工专）于8月31日和9月1日两天，在莱蒙山举办登山，休闲娱乐活动。

　　活动将月８月３１日上午１１点在Ramada Inn（6944 E Tanque Verde Rd, Tucson）集合，爬l莱蒙山（Mt Lemmon ）。酒店提供团体特惠，每个标准间４５美金。会议室３５美金，供大家一起就餐娱乐，酒店还提供泳池，ＳＰＡ，早餐。

　　活动内容：登山，分享各家的特色菜，打牌，游戏，表演。

　　因为酒店要下午三点后才可以入住，上午１１点集中的时候，大家可以把东西放在酒店。

　　９月１日开始爬一些比较有难度的山。当天回凤凰城。回来之前，会到图桑据说是最好的中餐馆一起就餐。 Bar-Da Chinese restaurant (so-called the best in Tucson)

　　整个旅程大家需要带一些小点心，还有家常菜。科工专提供一些水和一次性刀叉，以及会议室的费用。欢迎更多的朋友一起参加。会员免费，非会员每个成年人３美元，儿童２美元。

Hi all hiking FANS,

Have not seen you for a while! Here is our out-door plan for this coming long weekend.

Leaving Phoneix on 8/31 (Sun) in the morning and meet at Ramada Inn (where we will stay overnight) at or before 11 AM. Then, we are going to top of Mt Lemmon for hiking at 1. Aspen Trails (3.8 mi – more difficult); 2. Butterfly Trails (5.7 mi – more difficult) and 3. Aspen Trails (3.8 mi) if time permits.

You may not check in before 3PM but you can leave your luggage or food (for pot-luck dinner) at hotel when arriving at Ramada Inn (6944 E Tanque Verde Rd, Tucson) – est. driving time: 2 hrs 10 minutes from Phoenix downtown. BTW, it takes approx. 45 minutes driving from Hotel to top of Mt Lemmon.

I have reserved 10 rooms (two queen beds) at group rate of $45 each plus tax under my name (Amoy Xia Yang), as well as conference room at $35 setting up fee minimum where we will have a fun time ?pot-luck dinner, games, performances, etc. Hotel provides heated pool, hot-spa, hot breakfast buffet ?all included.

Next day on 9/1(Mon), we will explore the most difficult trails ?Cathedral Rock Trails (2.9 mi) and Finger Rock Trails (6.3 mi) from the other entries. After that, we plan to go to Bar-Da Chinese restaurant (so-called the best in Tucson) for dinner before we head back to Phoenix.

Please prepare your snacks/water during hiking (8/31 and 9/1) and your house-special for dinner at Hotel.
ACSE will cover fees for conference room, folks/plates/napkins, as well as some water, drinks and fruits.
Fee: non-member: $3 adult and $2 child (under 12).
