慈济凤凰城联络处儿童精进班招生

　　慈济凤凰城儿童精进班成立以来，除了让孩子学习中文，老师们将证严法师的智慧语录， 用生动活泼的方式，让孩子们认识中华文化，学习正确的人生价值与人文品格。其办学目标是培养儿童的人格特质，以适合家庭及社会的完美发展；开拓学生的心胸及视野，以培养宽广的思考及气度。

　　儿童精进班每星期上课时数三小时， 除了两小时的中文课程， 并有一小时的人文课程 – 静思语教学。人文课程包括： 生活礼仪、孝顺、知足感恩、惜福、环保、茶道、花道、心素食仪、手语等。
　　二0一三年秋季班将于八月十日开学。

　　Tzu Chi Phoenix Children Learning Class is taking application

The goals of Children Learning Class are:
Cultivate individual children’s innate quality
Develop awareness and appreciation of all cultures
Prepare the children to be the pillars of family and society
　　　
The weekly 3-hour class consists of a 2 1-hour sessions of Chinese Language and a 1-hour humanity and cultural study which teaches children etiquette, filial piety, appreciation and gratitude, frugality, re-cycle, tea ceremony, flower arrangement, appropriate mannerism and sign language.

Class Begins on August 10. 2013
Class Schedule: Saturday 9:30am – 12:20pm
First Period: 9:30am -10:20am Chinese Language
Second Period: 10:30am – 11:20am Chinese Language
Third Period: 11:30am-12:20pm Humanity and Cultural Study

Fees: Registration: $20 Tuition: $100 /per semester
Ages: 4 – 10
